Personal Statement
I am proud to have a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Literature from Colorado State University. The IT industry, language, culture, travel, and folklore inspire my scholastic ideals while continuing to awaken my spirit and soul. My ability to engage in and communicate about UI, API, Backend testing, quality assurance, and the culture of Agile-Scrum methodology has created rewarding relationships, both professional and personal. I have worked in the IT industry for over four years. As the IT industry has grown, I have maintained a respect and a deeper understanding of how important comradery is to my team, the environment and how the intricate economy of the industry influences our nation as a whole. I am motivated most by self-driven goals. I have an unmatched desire for quality assurance. Striving for the best gives the feeling l success. How do I define my success? Through my contributions. Which makes me a great teammate. It is with great honor that I continue to grow as an individual while helping the greater whole of my community. In recent years I have accepted the challenge of how to give back to my community. My volunteering is a great representation of my dedication to my community. I find the hard work extremely rewarding along with the success that comes with these efforts. It has always given me such delight to be part of something bigger than myself. I have mentored, volunteered and created fundraising events and have been part of some amazing things. I thrive when I set personal goals. I have always been able to visualize myself achieving what I put my mind to. And even when I fail, I learn. What I take away from failure prepares and propels me for the next time that event happens in my life. One of my greatest accomplishments is teaching myself automation testing. I can say I never give up and try my hardest till the end of each day with my best efforts. I have appreciation and respect for quality of life while balancing this with an industry that never stops growing.
I am excited to continue to grow in my role as a greater End-to-End SDET.
With my knowledge of the IT industry, my networking skills, and unequivocal work ethic, I will not only have an advantage — I will continue to thrive in any professional environment.
